After winning three Drivers Championships in SCCA World Challenge Touring Cars, Michael Galati moved up to the World Challenge GT class in 2000 in a Champion Racing Audi S4 Competition, winning his first race that year at Las Vegas. In 2001 Galati won the Speedvision GT Drivers' Championship and Audi won the GT Manufacturers' Championship. In 2002, Galati won  his second consecutive GT Drivers title, with Audi taking second in the GT Manufacturers championship. For 2003 Michael Galati will be partnered by racing veteran Randy Pobst, and the pair will take on the GT field with all-new twin-turbo Audi RS-6 Competitions.
