11 March - Audi RS 6 Early Sebring Testing

Randy Pobst and Michael Galati set the third and fourth fastest times in trials today (TUES) for the opening SPEED World Challenge GT Championship.

Pobst, who has joined the Audi Sport North America supported Champion Racing team which this year runs the brand new Audi RS 6 “Competition”, set a 2min 15.991secs. Reigning GT champion Galati was less than two-tenths slower.

“Champion has put together a reliable, fast car in a short space of time,” said Pobst. “The quattro element is great to drive but we face stiff competition and it’s going to be tough.”

Mike added: “I’m happy with the car, we’re making improvements all of the time and the good thing is that the car responds well to changes.”

The Champion team will continue to work on spring and shock settings in readiness for Friday’s 50-minute race.
